A Petroleum Company is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support our Logistics team in handling outbound operations. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth logistical processes and effective coordination with clients and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Study client tenders.
  • source for suitable suppliers.
  • Review all technical quotations prepared.
  • prepare po for offers.
  • Review the received purchase orders from the client and the purchase order sent to the supplier.
  • Ask for technical letter and certificates if needed.
  • Arrange with financial department regarding all transactions.
  • Answer clarifications from the client and supplier.
  • follow up orders until delivered to the client after managing logistic prerequisites.
  • Arrange with different forwarders for delivering the materials on time
  • follow client feedback for the materials acceptance or rejection
  • Document all the above data using Microsoft programs.
  • Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering prefer ( Mechanical - Production )
  • (0-3) years of experience in this field or same field
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Experience in cosmetics/retail is a plus.
