Summary:

As an Autonomy Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and deploy high-performance software that is responsible for operating our autonomous feed truck that delivers feed to cattle. You will help execute the technical strategy for our perception, planning, and control stacks. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure safe, reliable, and repeatable operation of our autonomy stack in the real world.

Candidates must be Fluent in English, and have a minimum of 3 years experience directly in Autonomous Driving or Mobile Robotics.

Start date for this position would be on or around August 1st.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with and help lead other members of the autonomy team to develop and deploy the algorithms that power our autonomy stack
  • Design, prototype, and evaluate machine learning algorithms and architectures for detection of environmental actors and semantic understanding of various environmental scenes.
  • Develop and test ROS2 systems for perception, path planning, and controls
  • Develop and test Cloud Systems for control, monitoring, analytics of self driving systems.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive software engineer skills in Python and C++
  • Extensive experience developing and deploying ROS2 systems for autonomous driving and robotics
  • Extensive experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow
  • Extensive experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
  • Experience in Autonomous Driving Perception, Path Planning, and Controls
  • Experience with Perception Sensors (LiDAR, Radar, Camera, GPS, IMU, etc.)
  • Fluency with agile software design workflows and project planning

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in CS, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, or equivalent
  • 3-5 Years in a Software Engineering role directly in Autonomy/Robotics
