Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior
Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and
scalability of our software applications under various load conditions. With your expertise in
performance testing methodologies and tools, you will collaborate closely with development teams to
identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system performance metrics, and recommend optimizations
to enhance the overall performance of our products. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans, including workload modeling,
scenario creation, and test data preparation.
    Design and implement performance test scripts using industry-standard tools such as JMeter,
    LoadRunner, or Gatling.
      Conduct performance testing on different layers of the application stack, including frontend,
      backend, APIs, and databases.
      • Analyze test results to identify performance issues, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
      Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot performance problems and recommend
      solutions.
        Collaborate with architects and system engineers to optimize system architecture for better
        performance and scalability.
          Automate performance testing processes and integrate them into the continuous
          integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
            Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in performance testing and apply them to
            improve our testing strategies.
              Requirements:
              • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
              6+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing, preferably in a software development
              environment.
              • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
              Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load testing, stress testing,
              and scalability testing.
                Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools to analyze system performance
                metrics.
                • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and database systems.
                • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
                • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
                • Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or performance testing tool certifications are a plus.
